About me

I’m a performer, creative producer, and teaching artist working at the intersection of storytelling, experience design, and community-driven play.

I started out as an actor in classical and musical theatre with a BFA from the University of Arizona, but over the years my career has expanded into interactive worlds, creative producing, immersive design, and leadership—both onstage and behind the scenes. I’ve performed, taught, and directed internationally across Europe, China, and the U.S., and I’ve worked with brands like Disney, Buzzfeed, Walmart, Adobe, Marvel, and Virgin.

One of my proudest projects was joining the original creative development team for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World, where I played a principal role and later stepped into leadership as an immersive trainer and stunt captain.

As Head of Talent Development and a Creative Producer at Culture House Immersive, I was part of a small but mighty team of “immersive avengers” led by pioneering director Mikhael Tara Garver. Together, we helped build the company from the ground up, developing and incubating a slate of original, large-scale immersive projects with bold artistic and cultural goals.

In Shenzhen, China, I worked with Yayapa Children’s Theatre as a writer, director, and designer of original live shows for sold-out family audiences. I also coached classrooms of all ages in Stanislavski-based acting and musical theatre technique, blending Eastern and Western storytelling approaches with joy and rigor.

At CAMP Stores’ flagship 5th Avenue location in Manhattan, I served as one of the first Lead Activities Coordinators—performing, building playful guest experiences, and helping develop core training systems that scaled nationally as the company expanded. I trained new team members using methods centered on empathy, adaptability, and delight, many of which became standard across locations.

As a teaching artist and creative collaborator, I’m all about making work that invites people to play, feel deeply, and connect. Whether I’m performing, designing experiences, or coaching emerging artists, I bring a curious mind, a scrappy spirit, and a deep love of story to everything I do.

When I’m not creating, you’ll probably find me cooking something elaborate, obsessing over interior decor, or gossiping about White Lotus with my partner Christopher and our cat Mochi (who absolutely runs the household).

Hi, I’m Kierna!
